THE halloween party where Peter and Libby first met!

Peter kept his dance moves fresh between the 10 school dances Peter and Libby invited each other to throughout high school. Cue the cheesy promposals and boutonniere pinning!

Throughout junior and senior year, Peter and Libby cheered each other on at all the sports games. Peter played soccer and ice hockey at Landon and Libby played lacrosse at Holton. If any game or practice fell on a Monday, Peter and Libby would jump in the car after and race over to Congressional Country Club for pasta night!

Every summer, Peter headed to camp at Deerfoot Lodge in New York and Libby to Northern Michigan with her family. They would write letters back and forth all summer, telling endless stories about their adventures. To this day, the letters are one of their favorite keepsakes, helping them reminisce on the good old days!

Go Deacs! Roll Dins! With Wake Forest University and Furman University only being three hours apart, Peter and Libby visited each other a bunch throughout college. They attended lots of Wake Forest football games, sorority formals and FUSAB events, and get togethers with each other's friends!

Peter and Libby graduated college just days apart from each other, making an eventful week to kick start their post-graduate life together. Over the years, Peter grew close to Libby’s college friends and Libby to Peter’s, so celebrating these accomplishments together was quite fun!

Throughout the craziness of their college years, some of Peter and Libby’s favorite memories were from family trips to their happy places. They would head up north to Onekama, Michigan for the fourth of July and to Sea Island, Georgia for New Year’s Eve. Two trips they are sure to continue annually as long as possible!

When looking for post-graduate jobs, Peter and Libby both wanted to zero in on Charlotte, North Carolina. For the past two years, Peter and Libby have taken advantage of the warm weather and walkability of the city. After almost 4 years of long distance, Peter and Libby have loved living just down the street from each other, trying out lots of new restaurants and breweries, making new ~adult~ friends, and joining Hope Community Church!

After 8 years of growing up together and making memories… THE day finally arrived! Peter took Libby on a “hike” in Winston Salem, North Carolina on the hottest day of the summer and dropped down on one knee… and she said YES! We can’t wait to celebrate their love with you so soon! Thank you for being a part of this special day. Let their next adventure begin!
